What is The Wound Guru app?
The Wound Guru ™ Web-App will assist the user in selecting the most appropriate cleansing agent, wound dressing group, topical treatments and then learn the rationale for the choices indicated.
How does it work?
You answer 10 questions, the description of any wound, and The Wound Guru ™ will give you a list of indicated products just for that specific wound.
What are the types of products?
The app will give you a cleansing agent, a dressing and at least two topical agents that are indicated for your wound. I will tell you if your wound is indicated for NPWT and more.
What are the Cleansing agents?
The Wound Guru ™ will give two choices in cleansing agents; a regular wound cleanser and a hypochlorous acid solution.
What are the dressing types?
It will give you one of the following dressings; gauze, thin foam, alginate/hydrofiber or a thick foam.
What are the topical agents?
The topicals are; surgilube, hydrogel, honey, collagen and a contact layer.
What about tunneling underminning?
The Wound Guru ™ will even tell you if plain gauze or alginate/hydrofiber packing is indicated, based on the amount of drainage potential your wound has.
What about a wound pump?
The Wound Guru ™ is so advanced that it will tell you if NPWT is indicated for your wound.
